Very easy to assemble. After getting a "Lipper" chair set and having to return that junk, I ordered this one - assembly was a breeze and it looks great. It is heavy and solid and safe for kids to use.

I have ordered a lot of furniture over the years and this is the highest quality I have ever seen. It was very easy to assemble and just beautiful!!! I just cannot say enough about how much the quality impressed me. And everyone that has seen this furniture is so impressed and wants to find out the brand and where I got it. I cannot believe what a great price I got. It's like the good 'ol days are back with this Avalon furniture!

I received this table and extra chairs 2 days after I ordered them and was so excited. A friend of mine had originally bought this table and when I saw it I loved it. It was easy to assemble..[...] great company, great product!!! kids love it!!

Only problem was one leg that split during assembly--went online and had replacement leg in 10 days!
Grandkids ages 3-7 love the work/play area and seating!
Perfect size and price for sturdy kids furniture!

good quality table; easy to put together; nice size for both my 2 and 4 year old to sit at; smooth surface easily wipes clean; blends well with "grown up" furniture; great for use as a kids kitchen table or work table for projects.
only one complaint: the underside/bottom of the drawer is cheapy plyboard, and my son often knocks it with his feet under the table. i wonder how the drawer will hold up over the years. but the table and chairs are very solid.

I was looking for a wood table for my 4 year old son that would last him a couple years size and quality-wise and this one was perfect! He is average height and it's a tad big for him, so he kneels on the chairs at times, but it still fits my 7 year fine, so I know he will get the use I was hoping for! The styling is classic and simple- and he loves the drawer. Beautiful medium oak color, easy to assemble and fabulous price!! We couldn't be happier!

Our son enjoys his new table, he colors and plays with toys at it. He enjoys being able to climb into the chairs on his own.

My 2 year old grandson and his parents love this set. The chairs are sturdy enough for an adult to sit on - and this happens a lot. The table and chair height will let him use them through the early school grades, yet he finds them just fine now. They are nice looking furniture, too.

Toddler grandchildren use it for eating, reading, drawing etc. It is very sturdy and safe; I don't have to worry about them hurting themselves. I purchased two, one for them to use at their house and at my house.

We really researched a table and chair set and read reviews on all different sites. Alot said they were unstable or the tops marked easily. This set is super sturdy, it had all the correct pieces to put it together and it all fit properly. It's made of real wood with a nice finish on it so it doesn't mark very easily. And the hight is great. My son is 2 1/2 and his feet don't quite touch the ground when he's sitting on the chair but it's still a kid size. My husband and I can fit at the table as well as his grandparents. We love it and can finally get rid of his high chair! He eats all his meals there and plays games and puzzles there too. He also seems very proud of himself that something fits him so well. Totally worth the money.
